LFW: MENSWEAR DAY

The British Fashion Council announced today that the Menswear day of LFW will take place on Wednesday 23rd September 2009, showcasing 25 designers.The show will open with shows at the BFC venue in Somerset House will be Carolyn Massey and James Long. Amongst the highlights of the day include A Child of the Jago, co-founded by Vivienne Westwood’s son Joseph Corre in E1.

MARC AND BOYFRIEND ROCK THE MAN BAG

I think this trend has been bubbling for a while in seedy fashion gay parties around the major fashion capitals. Now designer Marc Jacobs and boyfriend Lorenzo Martone rocked the male clutchbag for the screening of Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds premiere in New York this week.
Not too sure about this one Marc.

Following up the collabo between Comme Des Garcon Play and Converse comes in the form of a revamped classic Chuck Taylor All Stars. I can see Converse all over this but no Comme Des Garcon.
