SHOWSTUDIO: FASHION REVOLUTION

Nick Knight launches SHOWstudio: Fashion Revolution for the press tomorrow at Somerset House. The exhibition will showcase the talents of innovators as various as Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Gareth Pugh,Kate Moss and Björk - and Knight himself.

The uber photographer told Vogue.co.uk in June that:

"We are in the midst of a revolution in fashion imagery,. Moving away from illustration and stills photography, we are now entering the restless world of interactive, self-created, digital-imaging: accessible, downloadable and constantly changing. This is what interests me. Working with the very top fashion creators, this show will open up the whole process of fashion to literally everyone, instead of just an informed few."

SHOWstudio: Fashion Revolution will run at Somerset House from September 18 to December 22 2009.

German Vogue celebrates 30 years with Bruce Webbers vision of mancandy.

Miss GaGa seems to have found a kindred spirit of sorts in Nicola Formichetti as this is like the 3rd editorial they do together, here its for Vogue Homme Japan issue that came out on the 11th.

Shot by the amazing Japaneese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki, this shoot is by far the best collabo between the GaGa and Nicola.

TOM FORD: SINGLE MAN

Tom Ford goes from strength to strength, having directed his first ever feature film starring Colin Firth, Juliana Moore and Matthew Goode, called A Single Man. Colin Firth was awarded for best male actor at the Venice film festival for his role in the movie.

The trailer looks stunning, cant wait to see it.

“It's really a film about love and isolation that I think all of us feel, so it is very universal,” Ford explained of the ‘gayness’ of the movie at a news conference.“When I see someone who sees the film and says, 'It's a gay story,' I don't even know what they are thinking, it just seems to me a human story.”
