She could of easily avoided these pictures if she'd only admitted it.

GAY BOXING: IF MANOLO STARTED MAKING BOXING SHOES

"Boxing is not for everyone. To the uninitiated it can be brutal, bloody, and mystifying; if there are few, if any, gay professional boxers, it’s hardly surprising. “Being gay in the boxing world is very taboo,” says Hoskins. “There are definitely some out there, but no one talks about it.” In fact, boxing remains obdurately unreconstructed, a sport where gay slurs are scattered like firecrackers to belittle opponents. The experience of former boxer Emile Griffith is instructive. At the weigh-in before Griffith’s 1962 fight for a world welterweight title, his opponent, a Cuban named Benny “the Kid” Paret, called Griffith a maricón, the Spanish word for faggot. Enraged, Griffith took his revenge in the 12th round of the fight, backing Paret into a corner and knocking him out cold with a vicious flurry of uppercuts. Unseen by the ref, Paret’s arm was hooked on the rope, keeping him upright as Griffith battered his head with a slew of undefended punches. Paret fell into a coma and died 10 days later. Years after his retirement Griffith came out of the closet, and, recalling his bout with Paret, said, “I kill a man and most people understand and forgive me. However, I love a man and so many people find this an unforgivable sin.”

I found this great article on underground gay boxing on out.com.

Had no idea boxers could be out and proud gay.

MEN'S VOGUE BAN MARC JACOBS AD

According to the New York Times blog The Cut Men's Vogue refused to publish the S/S 2007 Marc Jacobs campaign shot by uber photographer Juergen Teller, as it featured a male gay couple kissing in the woods. The photographer states that "....the most complaints were about the series with Dick Page and James Gibbs because they are a gay couple. Men’s Vogue even refused to publish it. Dick is a very close friend of mine and I’ve known him for 20 years — he’s been part of the Marc family for 20 years. And I like the idea of having a gay couple in a men’s ad because it makes sense. And I wanted the ads to be like they are — very romantic, tender and sweet. I certainly didn’t want to have anything provocative, not at all."

It seems to me that we have a classic case of where the publisher is in complete denial of its readership and maybe also in denial of the sexuality of men's vogue. I mean high fashion for straight metrosexual men? , at least GQ disguised it through many how-to-pick-on-girl-features.
I remember several Bruce Webber editorials for Mogue that looked as gay as you can get with un-cut zoomed in penises and male embracing.

Now where is men's vogue now? oh yeah it folded funnily enough.
